I suggest writing to the history selection of www.military.com where
there are a lot of links and information. it is
http://www.military.com/History/History_Period?mlegend=0&period=WWIIEU&service=
They also sell videos here
http://www.military.cibmedia.com/main-video-result.asp?offset=75
and there is a book with some photos

The 84th Division is currently a training support unit supporting a six-state area, including Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio. I'd suggest giving a call to either them or their historical archives. From http://www.usarc.army.mil/84th/About84th/Alumni.htm, you may wish to contact the Alumni association or the Rail Splitters society. 84th Division Alumni If you are interested in contacting the 84th Division Alumni Association, you may do so at: 84th Alumni Association 4828 W. Silver Spring Drive Milwaukee, WI 53218 (414 535-5701 The 84th Infantry Division Railsplitter Society, Inc is the place to find WW II information. This is a nation-wide organization with members in most every state and various events across the nation throughout the year. This is a non-profit organization run by volunteers. 84th Infantry Division Railsplitter Society PO Box 827 Sioux Falls, SD 57101-0827 Phone: 605-334-8787 One of thse two, especially the latter, may have more information, including for get-togethers, historical photo archives, and such. Good luck! Wy, SGT, 91st Division |
