After many successful hotsyncs with m515 and Palm Desktop 4.0 and Mac
OS 10.2 I now have no hotsynch at all, even after trashing all palm
files and reinstalling, can you help?

If you download the new Palm Desktop Manager from Palm.com it should
work, The same thing happened to me. Also if you would like to be a
"Beta"tester check out the Beta that was released for Apple's iSync
product,
