Dear deepskyblue-ga

The British Universities Sports Association (BUSA) provides a wide
ranging sporting programme in over 40 sports to member institutions
all over Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
BUSA administrators are on http://www.busa.org.uk/ The site contains
news, information and rules and regulations on all university sports
including football.

http://www.busaresults.org.uk has results and fixtures.
Go to the above page and either click on Conferences> Premier Leagues>
football (North and South Premier Leagues) or sport> football> select
from several leagues.

Under links it has BUSA codes. Select this to ascertain codes for the
various universities.

There is also the Phillips European University Football League at
http://www.universityleague.philips.com/home/default.sps
Again a very extensive site with information on matches, teams and
players.

I believe that both these sites will provide the extensive information
you require.

Do not hesitate to ask for clarification of any part of this research
or if the links do not work.
