I recently read an article in The New York TImes, sometime during
October 2002, an obituary of His Majesty King Klaus of The Netherlands
who died earlier this month.

Prince Klaus or Claus (as it is also spelt) was husband to Queen
Beatrice of the Netherlands, he died, aged 76, from Parkinsons disease
and pneumonia on the 6th October 2002.
