What do you mean by "independent?" These days, virtually all
large-market commercial stations are parts of large co-owned groups of
stations.  The largest groups each own many hundreds of stations
around the country, and it now legal to own several stations within a
single large market, as well.  Are you interested only in stations
that are not group-owned?

I am interested only in stations that are NOT owned by the
conglomerates. A group owning less than 15 stations would fit my
description of 'independent'.

Try aribtro's web site. There's a bunch of good industry directories
as well, you should try www.randr.com, for Radio and Records trade
journal.
