I can't connect to RealOne Premium radio stations from inside my
company's firewall. I can connect to them from home (I have a
subscription) and I can connect to other Real stations (e.g. KING-FM,
Amazon.com music previews) from inside the firewall.

tomtul2-ga,

I believe you'll have to ask your IT department to open the fire wall
for the Real Media feed.

Your IT department or Chief Information Officer to allow it. It may
not be something you can actually do yourself.

Well, I have a pretty detailed explanation of what you need. However,
probably at least some of it has to be done by an network admin.
Plus, I am not able to post answers, only comments.

I doubt I can get my company, which is very large, to change its
firewall. But why can I get some Real stations like KING or Amazon CD
preview tracks?

From Original Poster:

all the sample clips on Real's test page work for me:
http://service.real.com/learnnav/rp4.html

I have read Real support's page on firewalls at
http://service.real.com/firewall/configRP8.html and tried most of the
possibilities.

The configuration I am using is below. This is the only configuration
that gets any stations at all.

Preferences:
· Transport
· Use Spec. Trans. ON
· PNA - use Http only
· RSTP - same
· Use UDP Port OFF
· Proxy:
· use PNA proxy : like web browser but port 1090
· manually config HTTP proxy: like my web browser

I have a peice of software called Proxy+ which has support for Real
Audio, Try asking your admin weather RA is enabled.
