Hello mrowsom, and thank you for the weighty question!

It would appear that the average person stays on a weightloss program
for between 5 and 6.4 months.

"While it's human nature to want "quick results," it appears most
people take weight loss more seriously. The average reported time on a
weight loss regimen is five or six months."

weight loss regimen in the past year averaged 6.4 and 5.8 months,
respectively,"

Hello again mrowsom,

In your request for clarification:

"is that for a particular program or can that 4 - 6 week program meen
that the person skips from produt to product."

1. No the figures are not for a particular program/product, but are
for weight loss programs/products in general.

2. Yes it could mean that the person 'skips' from program to program,
spending (on average 5-6 months on each one)

3. In your request for clarification you mentioned "4 - 6 week" On
average people stay on weightloss programs/products for between 5 and
6.4 months. ie. Months NOT weeks.

I hope that helps a little more.

If you need any further clarification, do not hesitate to ask.

Best Regards

THX1138
