I am trying to find some sort of travel site that focuses specifically on well-written personal travelogues / travel diaries... either a resource that hosts them or links to them, and in large quantities. The problem is that I HAVE found travelogues through Internet searches, but it is time consuming as you really have to dig through a mess of commercial links, travel tips, and travel summaries that I wouldn't consider "travelogues". The closest I've found is virtualtourist.com, but it does not cater to any kind of travel diary format and seems to be a massive bulletin board of photos and travel notes... not very immersing. Some examples of the kind of stuff I'm looking for: http://www.weathergraphics.com/tim/arctic/ http://members.cts.com/crash/m/mfm/transam_daybyday.html http://www.danklarmann.com/Sep2001/journal.htm Any good leads? | |

Check out http://www.travelhog.net. It claims to list the web's best travelogues. |
