my father died in 1998. he mentioned over the years that his father,
James Culbreath Sample, went to Florida probably in the 1930s or 40s
and bought a large amount of land that turned out to be swamp land. It
may be valuable today and was wondering if someone can help research
this to find out if it is possible that some property is still in his
name someplace in florida? If there is , can I claim it as a
descendant?

Hi, runner1 --

Do you have any idea at all where in Florida the land might be? Land
records are often specific to a county or other local area. If do you
have any ideas, that could be very helpful to a researcher. Thanks!

Please state what your father's name is and the city/state and month
and year when/where he died. Also please mention the same for James
Culbreath Sample, so that researchers can assist you. Also mention
their wives' names. If possible, please mention how old each man was
when he died, or their date of birth.

SINCERELY,
