What are the most popular non-fiction books (published since 1998 and in English) on promoting or improving or maintaining your own health as an adult? By "most popular" I am meaning most commonly bought or loaned from libraries in North America. I am particulrly interested in those books that approach this from a conventional medical standpoint - for example, involving visits to physicians, use of drugs and supplements, vaccinations etc. If possible I would like some documentation as to why the books listed are considered the most popular. In each case I need the title, author(s), publisher & year of publication. | |

U have a problem there, most libraries do not collect statistics down to an individual title. Mostly, they would be more concerned with the overall category i.e. Health books versus other type of subjects etc. But for current popularity u might want to check out any of the e-bookstores e.g. Amazon, they do rank their sales of the books, checkout the Health books and compare their popularity (in terms of how it rank in their sales) and you would be able to get a proxy estimation. |
