I am sorry, i have mistyped both links. The right URLs are
tracersinfo.com and phantominfo.com.
Again - i need a list of site like those two, which can provide
investigation services like ssn (social security number) and mmn
(mother's maiden name) searches.

edshamah..

The advent of the internet has allowed what was once a very time
consuming activity, that of checking backgrounds on individuals, much
easier and effective. Be it hiring screenings for employers, tenant
screening for landlords, or simple personal investigation, the
internet has made this important step much easier. However, with that
ease, it has also brought up the issue of personal privacy and the
availability of personal information. Be that as it may, there are
several resources you can use to help with the process of background
checks.

Online companies that will do background and personal information
checks are numerous. Their fees can range from about $18.00 for a
standard criminal records check to over $100 for a full investigation.
Below I have listed several companies that will provide background
information:

http://www.backgroundsonline.com/
Specializing in employee background checks, they require a signed
authorization from the person you are seeking a check on. If adverse
information is found, they contact the person being checked and let
them know of the findings.

http://www.absolutebackgrounds.com/
They will allow you to post job applications online, on their servers,
which integrates the screening and hiring process

http://www.personnelprofiles.com/
Online system allows for a wide variety of checks, including SSN
traces, DMV reports, and education verification.

https://www.yourownprivateeye.com/
The have a large list of information that they will search and provide
information for including address searches, asset searches and
judgments and liens.

http://www.casebreakers.com/
They will search a wide variety of public records for what appears to
be a very reasonable price, depending the depth of the search
required.

http://www.accesschecks.com/
Standard reports available, but it appears their turnaround time may
be a little longer than other sources

http://www.backgroundchecks.ws/
They have flat-rate packages as opposed to a la carte report options

http://www.screenstaff.com/
They advertise instant SSN verification and have a very nice selection
of sample reports that you can view prior to placing any orders.

http://www.usatrace.com/
They have several instant response searches available

http://www.americandatabank.net/
Provides instant SSN verification, criminal background searches and
provides additional reports for individuals as well as companies

Typical turnaround on most report requests is one day. However, the
deeper you the investigation, obviously the longer the turnaround will
be.

This list provides what I feel are resources that will assist with
your needs. Bear in mind, however, that these organizations are
typically not licensed, therefore there will be certain services they
may not be able to provide that you may find yourself needing. The
information that they gather will be, primarily, from public records.
Before spending any money, be sure and phone and request references.
As with any high growth industry, there are people that will promise
the world and deliver very little.

If you are in need of a private investigative service, I recommend you
visit the National Association of Legal Investigators at
http://www.nalionline.org/

If you need any additional information or clarification, please let me
know and I will do my best to provide additional information you may
need.

ssn trace

Dear Tar_heel,

Thank you for the answer.
But, there were a lot of site, offering ssn verifications (only
verifications) and background searches and nothing about mmn's and ssn
traces.
I know, that there are a couple of sites, that offer instant ssn
traces after providing some basic info about a person.
This is really important for me and my company.

I hope, you will help me.

Upon further research, I found the following sites that offer instant
SSN trace results:

http://www.dc-investigations.com/default.cfm
http://www.rapsheets.com/
http://www.integrityprofile.com/details.htm
http://www.usinfosearch.com/SSN_Verification_Desc.htm

If none of these meet your requirements, please let me know.

Ok, that's really great.
My last question is - can you find sites, that do instant ssn
searches?
I mean not traces. E.g. - i have first name, last name and address of
a person investigated and need to know its SSN. How can do it?
There are some sites, wich offer instant ssn searches.
Please, find them.
This is the last clarification.

Thank you.

Unfortunately there are no legal means for you to acquire a person’s SSN
without their permission. A person’s SSN is protected by the Privacy Act
of 1974 and there are very few instances where a person is absolutely
required to disclose his/her SSN. Even in cases where SSN is routinely
requested, there are often ways for a person to protect the privacy of
that number because the requestor has no true authority to require it.

Unless you are a government agency, an employer, or a bank, you do not
have the authority to acquire an individual’s SSN. If you are one of these
entities, then you should already have the means to collect and verify
that number.

As the Google Answers TOS made clear I cannot give you any illegal (or
even merely unscrupulous) methods for obtaining a Social Security Number
of another person. I have answered your initial question regarding online
investigators who may verify SSN’s for you. Unfortunately I am unable to
help you with your subsequent request.

Thank you very much for your understanding.

Regards,

edshamah,

It is not likely there are any existing companies who will provide a
subject's Mother's Maiden Name, as there is no legitimate reason for
needing this information. Background checks can be run using a
subject's Name, Birthdate or Social Security Number.
