I am looking for the list of all CT Scanners ( Computer Tomography
Scanner, Diagnostic Imaging Equipment) in the US, regardless of the
Manufacturer. I was told that these units have to be registered to the
State Offices (because they use X Rays). I would need the name of the
Hospital as well. Where can I find these listings on the web?

CLARIFICATION

Hello petitma-ga,

I started to research your question and I haven’t been able to confirm
that medical imaging equipment has to be registered. I did run across
a couple of expensive surveys that seem to provide the marketing
information you need, but even these will not list the owner/place of
deployment of every CT/MRI Scanner.

csh-ga, you are very close to what I am looking for.
I am looking for the Census of CT Scanners and MRIs, with Hospital
Names and locations (to do a mapping. Because these usits use XR
Tubes, I understand they need to be registered to the State as a
Radiation Source....
Indeed the surveys you are quoting are interesting - but really
expensive ! - I would assume that getting the info from the State /
Goverment would be much less expensive.

Hello again,
Your clarification helped me get a better understanding of what you're
looking for. I think could get you a list of the State registration
offices for the current question. Getting the census information of
all CT/MRI Scanners would be a time-consuming project even if it is
doable. I don't think your bid of $50 falls within the Google Answers
pricing guidelines. https://answers.google.com/answers/pricing.html

Please let me know if you will accept the list of registration offices
as a fulfillment of this project. Alternatively, you might want to
repost this Question at a different price.

I think we're on the right track and I'd love to help.
