In windows xp, in the network connections control panel, the incoming
connections (vpn) disappears after every reboot. How do you stop this?

Hi cougarridge-ga,

I've just tried the following:

1. Create a new VPN incoming connection in WinXP. Reboot.
2. Create a new VPN incoming connection in WinXP. Have a client
connect to the VPN over LAN. Disconnect client. Reboot.

In both instances, after the computer is back up, the Incoming
Connections item remains in Network Connections and is able to receive
new VPN clients.

Do you have something specifically or unusually configured for your
Incoming VPN connections?

Thanks,
mrbuzz-ga

Well that is usually how it works when you usually setup the incoming
connections. But this is just a standard configuration that you would
ever have. And after reboot the connection is gone and needs to be
recreated.
