Where can I purchase a cd or high-quality casette tape containing the
complete _The Midnight Meditation_, a song cycle for baritone voice
and piano by David Diamond? Copyrighted 1954 by Southern Music
Publishing Co., Inc., the score I have bears the inscription "For
William Warfield," so I would suspect that he did a recording of it.
The cycle itself appears to have been completed Sept. 1, 1951 in
Rochester, New York, based upon the date at the end of the piece. The
poems used are by Elder Olson.
