There is a CD (published about 8-9 years ago) that has routines by a
pair of comics that were originally done in the 1950s or 60s. Their
names were unfamiliar to me. The routines consist of gags which these
two comics would perpetrate on unsuspecting people. One of the gags
involved the two comics going into a pharmacy and asking the
pharmacist how they could sterilize instruments so that one guy could
operate on the other's heart (!) Another gag involved pretending to
insert a silver dollar into someone's head for a fee. What's the
title of the CD and where can I get the it?

Hi there,

The duo are Jim Coyle and Mal Sharpe.

A transcript of the Pharmacy gag is at 37 Zone (warning: don't look at
the rest of the site)

A recent CD of their pranks is called "Audio Visionaries: Street
Pranks & Put-Ons".

Read a review of the CD at Jazz Review

Listen to MP3s or buy the CD via a link to Amazon from their official
website:
http://www.coyleandsharpe.com/

Amazon also have their earlier CD "On the Loose". If you follow the
link above, they will get extra royalties if you buy it.

Thanks for the info. I first heard about this duo in the 90s, but
never got around to ordering it. Great service!
