I'm looking for 10-15 of the best popular event guide websites accross the country, targeted directly at college students, focusing on one specific campus or city. The sites should have the following criterea: Be separate from the university (not just an event calendar owned by the school) but may be affiliated with the school, receive a reasonably high number of page-views/day (800+), list both on and off-campus events. Please do not include HoosierParty.com or BoilerParty.com in the list, but you can use these as references to the types of sites I'm looking for. If the site is part of a national chain of sites, like the 2 mentioned above, that is even more along the lines of what I'm looking for. |

I'm not a researcher, but do have a possible lead to share: "CampusParty is a searchable online college campus event calendar and database for students. The site contains a comprehensive and eclectic mixture of on and off campus events unavailable in any other single source. You will quickly find college parties, college sports, college music & college life. We offer schools, organizations, performers, and many others an opportunity to promote their events. At CampusParty, you'll discover local and regional events with pertinent support information: costs, detailed descriptions, related activities, a contact website. All for free. Thank you for the link to that site. I have seen it before and think it's a great site. While I am also interested in national websites with local information like this one and citysearch.com, I'm mainly looking for sites tailored specifically to one campus so that hypothetically, a local or national advertiser with a small budget could target just one school. Or even just measure how much of a response to a new product or service one would get from different schools or students in certain regions of the nation. I may just be incorrect in thinking that BTBMG is not the only company that provides that service. |

When I was a student at the University of Kansas, I used a website every couple of days to check up on parties and things... I checked, and a new one is up. Here is the address: http://www.nautilus.net/kupd/ hope you find it useful! |
