The full title of the movie is "Sebastian Coe: Born To Run".
"1985, 52 minutes, available from Films for the Humanities at a public
performance cost."
http://www.runningmovies.com/s.htm#Sebastian%20Coe
The search engine on the Films for the Humanities & Sciences Web Site
doesn't go back before 1991, it seems. I tried to call, but they're
closed right now (early today, apparently.)
The Films for the Humanities & Sciences Web Site is
http://www.films.com/.
Be warned in advance; most of these movies are rentals or purchases
for public performance, so they're a bit on the pricey side. (Rentals
are around $70-80, purchases are around $120, from what I saw.)
If you can get a hold of them (1-800-257-5126) when they're open, they
may be able to get you a copy of the movie. If they no longer have it,
your other options would be to check your local library for a copy
that can be checked out (they can also look into an inter-library
loan, where they have it shipped
from another public library so you can check it out.)
The only other alternative would be to check Ebay, or another auction
site to see if you can find a copy floating around somewhere. (At
first glance, I was unable to find it for sale today on any auction
sites.)
If this is enough information for you to track it down (hopefully
films.com can still come up with a copy for you!) then let me know,
and I'll post this as an answer.
Hope this helps!
There is also a book by the name of "Sebastian Coe - Born to Run: A
Life In Athletics" by David Miller, available from:
