I am planning a trip in the next few weeks to Atlantic City, NJ to go gambling. Can you tell me if there is a website that will provide me with the minimun bets at what times of the day/night at which casino's on the main boardwalk. Basically, I don't have much money and I'd like to hit the $5 or $10 minumum tables for Black Jack, Roulette and Carribean Stud, but I don't want to have to walk to each casino and check myself, especially since they change somewhat frequently. |

Hi, I've found this website to be up to date and a good resource for this kind of searching. The NJ page is Casino City http://www.casinocity.com/cgi-win/disptch2.exe?u=989625&p=&b=G&t=989625 Thanks, webadept-ga |

Almost every Casino in AC have tables that have $5 min. I frequent Bally's and connected to it is WildWest, both have those types of tables and they take care of you there... Good Luck! Tom PS Always, Always, split Ace's and 8's and always Double down on Eleven :) |

Should you hit or stand on a 12. I tried both strategies and always lose. =( |

respree- "Should you hit or stand on a 12. I tried both strategies and always lose. =(" Depends on what level player you are. Since most casinos deal "face-up" to the players, if you can follow the cards on the table, you can get a good idea of what the dealer has. If the dealer is showing a face card, go ahead and hit. He's likely got a face card underneath, and 12 ain't going to beat 20. If the dealer is showing a 6 or less, stand, stand, stand! Once again, odds are the dealer down card is a face, and you want to save that big ten point card for him! (or her) If you don't feel like you can keep up with the cards, just stay consistent. Also, if your a beginner, don't sit at 3rd base. (the far left of the table or to the dealer's right) An experienced player at 3rd is your best friend. He can keep the good cards away or let the dealer have a bust card. I turned $20 into over $300 in one night thanks to a very good player at 3rd. But then again, it's all just luck! |
