There was a Hugh A. Rawlings born in Tennessee in 1875.

The family is from Sevierville. However, my grandfather, Hugh S.
Rawlings was born around the turn of the century. His father was named
Bruce, I believe; I am searching for biographical information about
both Hugh and Bruce including birthplace, wives, children, date of
death. Hugh died in 1960 in Southern California. Bruce died in Sulfer,
Oklahoma, I believe.

I believe I've found the information you want about Hugh S. Rawlings's
father.

Bruce E. Rawlings was born on June 18, 1866.  It appears that his
place of birth was Sevierville, Sevier, Tennessee.

He married Genette M. Atchley on December 4, 1884, in Sevier.  The
marriage record says "Bruce E. Rollings"; presumably this was a
mistake by the official who recorded the name.

They had three children: Lillian, Frank, and Hugh.

Bruce E. Rawlings died on September 29, 1930.  He is buried, along
with his wife who died in 1951, in the Oaklawn Cemetery in Sulphur,
Oklahoma.
