Old boyscout song eddiekootchakatchakamma* recorded by the Brothers Four

This is a tough question, but I finally found your answer. The name
of the song, as recorded by The Brothers Four, is "Sama Kama Wacky

Here's how I figured this out.

First, I went to Alta Vista ( ), where you
can type only part of a word as a search term. I searched for:
"brothers four" eddie* .
The following page came up on the first page of results:

"Eddie, Etc."
Minor Keys Music

[Incidentally, I then searched on Google for: eddie "fell into the
well" . I found several versions of the lyrics, including this one:

"Eddie Suka-Tamahara-Tosa-Nova-Tosa-Nostra-Sama-Kama-Whacky-Brown"
Kristin C. Hall ]

Searches on AltaVista, Google, and other search engines for the word
"eddie" (or "eddy") in combination with "brothers four" did not
produce any results.

I decided to find a good Brothers Four discography. I searched on
Google for: "brothers four" discography . And indeed, I did find a
good one:

"Discography The Brothers Four"
Åke Holm's discographies

By clicking on the record numbers, I could find the titles of Brothers
Four songs. Eventually, the title "Sama Kama Wacky Brown" leapt out
at me, from the first, self-titled album by the Brothers Four.

"The Brothers Four"
Åke Holm's discographies

"Sama Kama Wacky Brown" just had be the song that you're looking for;
the title matches the end of Eddie's name perfectly.

The Brothers Four self-titled album, along with B.M.O.C., is widely
available on CD. For instance, you can get it at CDNow, where you can
also hear a clip from the song. (After I hearing it, I know why you
wanted to find it; it's great!)

"Brothers Four : Brothers Four/B.M.O.C."

Thanks for this interesting question.
