I'm looking for a book (or similar: journal review article, chapter in a book, etc.) on modeling commodity prices and price-based indexes. More specifically, I want to learn how to specify stochastic models (both parametric and non-parametric) that replicate as closely as possible the statistical properties of the past decade's prices time series. I am not interested in general books on statistics or time series analysis without specific and extensive discussions on the problem of modeling price fluctuations. Although I expect there are many books and review articles on this topic, I have had little success in my search; I suspect I just haven't hit on the right keywords for my search. |
