Question ID: 95110
How would I get in touch with Anita Baker or where would I send a
letter to her so that she would actually get it? I do not want the
name and address of a record company, I can get that myself.

I can provide you the address of her publicist and her management
company. Would this suffice as an answer? Google Researchers cannot
provide personal information about indidivuals.

Yes, that would suffice as long as it is accurate. The information
provided before was not. I would also like phone numbers. I never
expected or thought that I would get her personal address or phone
number, but just a way to contact her that is reliable.

Thanks!

rugger..

Can you let me know the information you received previously. As far
as I know, the information I have is correct, however, if you were
given information before, I would like to make sure I don't give you
the same thing again.

Since the message was erased and I did not write it down, I don't
remember exactly, but I'm pretty sure the firm name given me was
called "Baker/.../..." (it had the name Baker in it) and it was
located on Beverly Blvd. in Beverly Hills. The contact name of her
supposed agent was I believe Mr.... "Eshelman," and again I called his
office does not and has never represented Ms. Baker. I hope this
helps clarify it for you.

Thanks!

That is the exact information I had. I will see if I can find the
correct information for you, though, it will be difficult on the
weekend.

That's fine--I'm in no rush. I have been wanting to write her letter
for years, so a few days wait is not a big deal.

Thank you.

Dear rugger-ga;

I have had a number of years of experience in contacting celebrities
for various reasons, whether they are for charity purposes of as a
result of my own personal admiration. Here you will find the
information you need to begin attempting contact with Anita Baker:

You may contact Ms. Baker through her publicist Baker / Winokur /
Ryder by writing:

Ms. Anita Baker
C/o Baker / Winokur / Ryder
405 South Beverly Drive Suite 500
Beverly Hills, CA
90212
(Phone: 310-277-6200 Fax: 310-277-8260)

Resource”

Or you may contact her by sending a letter to her booking agent,
Associated Booking Corp. at:

Ms. Anita Baker
C/o Associated Booking Corp.
1995 Broadway
New York, New York
10023

(Phone: 212-874-2400 Fax: 212-769-3649)

Be patient. My personal experience is that most fan letters are, at
best, slow to reach the celebrity to whom they are addressed. I hope
you find this research helpful.

I will send a letter throught the booking agent, but you should know
that the information regarding her publicist is not accurate. I have
called them and they have told me twice now that they do not represent
her in any capacity. So, should the question come again, that
information is not accurate.

Thank you making the best effort. I was hoping for something more
useful, but I am satisfied with the response.

Yes, I saw an earlier mention about the publicist. Try the booking
agent. This information is supposed to be current as of 2001. I often
have success through booking agencies as the celebrity usually keeps
them current in order to keep making the big $$$.

Good luck

I liked the honesty and openness regarding the potential for error and
also just the difficulty in getting in contact with Ms. Baker.
