While playing around with NTFS access permissions on my server, a
Windows 2000 Server (SP3) machine, I unknowingly limited access to a
directory to "Read and Execute" for the Administrators group and the
System account only.

This now means that no user, not even Administrator or System, has
Change permission to reset the access rights for this directory. As a
result, the directory is "lost". This wouldn't be so bad if it didn't
concern a system directory ("C:\WINNT\Installer").

Question: how can NTFS access permissions be reset or otherwise
changed when ONLY Administrators and System have ONLY Read and Execute
permission?
