ANSWER
Hello hmc53142-ga
This was a very interesting research project about the growing trend
toward family-centered medical care -- especially in hospitals. This
development requires not only a change in care-giving methods and
procedures but it also leads to modifying the physical environment.
Many health organizations that are building new hospitals or
renovating old ones, have chosen to involve their medical and support
staff as well as their patients and their families.
In my research I found the articles you requested that illustrate what
methods are used for conducting research for the new family-friendly
approach to health care. Along with these, it became clear that
architects professional associations and organizations are deeply
involved in facilitating this trend. In addition, there are a number
of organizations that are dedicated to working with all stakeholders
involved with family-centered care.
Ive divided the results of my research to reflect these categories.
