There is a book I had to read as homework in an Eastern Religions
course in about 1971 at William and Mary.  It was about the
relationship between Eastern and Western religions.  It contained a
large amount of information about Emanual Swedenborg.  Seemed like 1/4
of the book was on his theology.  Can you conjure the title of the
book? or some valid possibilities?

There are a couple of options I have come up with.  Do you recall
anything else.  Was the book primarily about Swedenborg's work? There
is a book titled "The kingdom of Heaven as seen by Swedenborg" that
was published in 1916 and authored by John Howard Spalding. Could this
be the book you are looking for?

No this book is primarily about the relationship between eastern and
western religious thought.  Information on Swedenborg seemed to occupy
an outsized amount of the book for one individual, but his name was
not in the title.  I think it was an academic work.
