I would like to setup a non-profit organization in the United States,
which would be finanically sponsored by a 501(c)(3) residing in Ohio.
I am in the US on an H1B VISA, and would like to return back to Canada
in a few years, and take the assets of the organization with me to
open a Non Profit in Ontatio, Canada.

This leads to the following multi-part question:

1) What is the best way for me to setup a non-profit organization so
as to incur minimal paperwork (we just plan on promoting our community
through various conferences, etc...) - keeping in mind the following
constraints:

(a) I'm on an H1B VISA residing in WA
(b) My fiance is a US Citizen residing in NY, and moving here in a few
months.

If I can't open the NPO myself (as I'm on a visa), can she open it in
WA, even though she doesn't live here yet? Or would she have to open
it in NY - and we could still leave it based there, even though she
will live WA? What is the best reference to learn about opening a
simple non-profit in the state that you suggest above?

(2) Once the organization is setup, and I have it fiscally sponsored
(i'm used the book "fiscal sponsorship - 6 ways to do it right" as a
reference), and my NPO has aquired its own assets through
tax-deductible donations made via the sponsorer, how can I move those
assets to an NPO I would like to start up in Ontario, Canada when I
move back there in a few years?
