Hi dwk020,

Good day and thanks for your question.

You can find the latest list of all universities at
http://www.utexas.edu/world/univ/alpha/ This page lists only 4-year
institutions.

For 2-year institutions and other community colleges, you can find
the list at http://www.utexas.edu/world/comcol/alpha/

In case you want to know the latest revisions to the lists, they can
be found at http://www.utexas.edu/world/univ/new/ and
http://www.utexas.edu/world/comcol/new/ respectively

A statewise listing of universities can be found at
http://www.utexas.edu/world/univ/state/

A statewise listing of community colleges can be found at
http://www.utexas.edu/world/comcol/state/

A useful tool for searching within university pages is the Google
university search service located at
://www.google.com/options/universities.html

Other useful links are

universities, tradeschools and much more, all listed by category,
state and alphabet.

This was a very complete answer. I was hoping to find out more than
what I had originally found myself, but that seems to be the best
there is. The fact that the reasearcher put all the pertinent links
on one page is reason alone to pay for the service.
