I've worked with several large retailers including Target and
Wal-Mart. What kind of retail software are you looking for?
Point-Of-Sale, Merchandise replenishment, invoicing, et al?

I am looking for a sytem that will handle POS, accounting functions
such as G/L, A/R, A/P, etc. as well as inventory management
(recieving, tracking, shipping, customer info database, invenotry
history, suggested PO's for multiple stores, etc). I would like to
warn you, though, that we are a small business, and our budget is well
under $100 thousand for this whole project, so I don't know that a
major national retail chain syatem would be affordable or applicable
to this situation. I think I am looking for a sytem simialr to MAS
200, but with proven retail abilities (and I'd like to know if MAS 200
has this proven abiltiy).

I'd recommend checking out www.greatplains.com - they might have the
right solution for you.

While I appreciate your comment, I just wanted to add that I have
checked out Great Plains, but what I am looking for is someone who is
already familiar with the different pros and cons of the available
systems, and can steer me in the proper direction.
