I like the cheaper one, the "EV400 English <-> Vietnamese Talking
Dictionary with 32K Bilingual Organizer". I went to their site but was
unable to figure this out. Can I type in an english word and get a
Vietnamese word as well as type in a Vietnamese word and get an
English?

Apologies for the delay in responding. I have contacted Ectaco about
the EV-400 and they inform me that the dictionary translates
vice-versa. So, YES, you can type in an english word and get the
Vietnamese word as well as type in a Vietnamese word and get the
English word.
