Are you thinking of a song with these lyrics?

"Is he magical logical natural I wonder
He's got the makings of my 7th wonder"

What kind of music is it, pop, rock, rap, etc. When did you first hear
or read about it to give us an idea as to what era we are looking for.

Look forward to hearing further.

Are you thinking of a reggae song?

If so, I think the answer may be "Sweet and dandy" by Toots & the
Maytals.

 It is no wonder
 It's a perfect pander
While they were dancing in that bar room last night.

I write "may be" because I've seen the lyrics transcribed very
differently in different places -- when the song was performed in the
movie 'The harder they come', the subtitles told an entirely different
story (literally) to the lyrics as told in the sleevenotes to my Toots
compilation.

The Selecter (and doubtless many other ska bands) have covered the
song, but I think Toots's is the best-known version.
