Brazil and ADM have done alot of reseach and application in ethanol production. But, I'm guessing you are interested in using the fibers left over. Here's a couple of ideas to look into: 1] Pulp the fibers and make a paper-like sheet that would be rolled into tight logs. 2] Chop into course fibers, mix with paraffin and extrude like Duraflame logs or press into brick shapes. Experiment with reducing the paraffin so it only binds the outter surface of the brick. This would reduce the amount of paraffin used and allow the brick to burn more quikly by falling apart in the fire. |
