What is the average cost of a wedding in Germany?  I mean the average
price that Germans pay to celebrate their wedding (ceremony and
reception).  i.e. The average cost of a wedding in the U.S. is around
20,000 dollars.  What is the equivelent figure for Germany?  I do not
want guesses or estimates.

Sorry for the misunderstanding.  It appears that the $20,000 estimate,
which comes from a study in Bride's Magazine from 1997,

is a study unique to the US.  I'm not able to find any equivalent
information for Germany this morning, however I'm a little pressed for
time.  What I have done is send an email to a wedding planner in
Berlin asking for the information you're interested in.  I hope to
hear back from them later today.  When I get their reply, which
hopefully won't be a guess or estimate, I'll post it here.  Sorry
again for the misunderstanding and delay.
