There is an organization based out of Fairfax, VA called the American
Public Communications Council (http://www.apcc.net) which represents
the various independent payphone providers.
They list the:
Northwest Public Communications Council
as the local affiliate that should be able to help you with Montana
(they also cover Idaho, Oregon, and Washington)

They would most likely have the most comprehensive information, as if
you were looking to become a member they would gladly oblige you - but
the information is not listed completely online.

I tried all of the sites you listed and was unable to find anything at
all.
1. The Apcc site had nothing for Wyoming, and an address/E-Mail for
the Northwest Public Communications Council President.
2. The vendorsnetwork.com site listed no IPP's for either state,
(listed snack food, Pepsi bottlers, etc.) and when I went to the
database for IPP's it showed a company in Texas and nothing else.
3. I currently work for an Independent Payphone Provider, in Michigan,
and am looking for possible employment in those two states. I cannot
join the Apcc to try and get a list.

correction/clarification from the database owner, because an original
statement I got was that most, if not all, of the vendors listed in
the area would have what I was looking for - on second glance, it does

aaron02-ga - I have tried numerous directions on finding websites for
these companies, and no current links come up, unfortunately. As many
are probably not nationally recognized companies, their websites may
have moved and have not yet been found by search engines, which
sometime take a few weeks or so to find them, if they exist.
As an aside, to find companies as such, you can generally put the
company name in (if you know the formal) in " " quotes just so you
don't get a random string of words in your results. For instance,
putting in "america online" will get you a link to aol.com, etc. Hope
that makes some sense. Usually if I cannot find a company this way, i
will start adding other factors I know of about it, such as city or
state, OUTSIDE of the quotes in my search. So you might put "Tel-Tec"
Billings MT in the search field. Hope that helps. Sorry I could not
come up with further website information for these companies. Please
advise if you need further investigation of this matter.
