I'm assuming you want somebody to condense and provide a summary of
his/her research into this topic. However, I've not got the time to do
that, nor am I a Google researcher. I hope you'll be able to use the
following site to gather up what you need. It's easily navigable and
well-organized. It provides a great chronology starting in 1864 (my
favourite study tool) and specialized features sections such as the
development of the turbine engine and vehicles produced during WWII.
