Misty8,

In researching further, I did find an online version of the User's
Manual. There is a graphic within the manual of the menu options and
there is no option to change the language. It could be that the phone
is a German model and is hard-coded for German menus. From the
document, it reads "The geographical area in which the equipment may
be used is shown on the label on the base unit". What does yours say?
Are you using this phone in Germany? The link to the manual is
http://www.p4c.philips.com/mprdata/020319/0203190176_dfu.pdf

You will need Adobe Acrobat reader to read this link.

Hello misty8,

Independant Telecom Forums may be able to help;
Casper would possibly be a good member to ask.

I have the owner's manual in English. The display on the phone is in
German which makes it very difficult to use the functions of the phone
as I do not speak German. I cannot use a translation site to figure
it out because it is mostly abbreviations. I was hoping there was a
way to reprogram the phone itself so that the display will read in
English. I contacted Phillips several days ago and they have not yet
responded to my problem.

Just a suggestion, but have you thought of printing out the page in
the German manual that matches up the page in the English manual and
comparing the two. I would hazard a guess that the menu layout is the
same.

Misty8,

I visited the Philips website and found the User's Manual for the Onis
Vox 200 cordless phone. Unfortunately, the link to the document is
not working. You may want to contact Philips and see if they can send
you the document via email. The link to the manual is

http://www.pcc.philips.com/manuals/onis200_UK.pdf

This is in English. If you are looking for another language, let me
know and I will see if I can locate the manual.

Regards,

I got the manual (it's deep in the Philips site), but it does not
mention any language options. Unfortunately, it's really really deep
in JavaScript, session-specific pages, and so on. Try and find the
manuals and drivers section. It's called: 0203190176_dfu.pdf

Try this URL:

http://www.p4c.philips.com/cgi-bin/dcbint/dcbint?mode=files&modname=TD6631&moddesc=Onis+200++

You should go straight to the manual available in a selection of
languages.
