We are a South African based software development company that is
presenly succesfully selling a "human workflow" software product
developed on the Microsoft .net platform to large and medium sized
corporates in Singapore and South Africa . Our distribution partners
include Microsoft Consulting Services, Accenture, Siemens and Avenade.
The product compliments and adds significant functionality to
Microsoft's Biztalk product. Although the company is already
profitable, we need additional capital to break into the USA and
Europe. We know that the VC industry in Europe and the USA is under
tremendous pressure and that many firms have stopped making new
investments. We need a shortlist of VC firms in Europe and the USA
that still has cash and would be interested in talking to us.

Reddeer --

Almost every VC fund is still actively investing. Almost all will be
willing to talk with you, as it's how they learn what's happening in
business. Your best bets will be approaching companies which are
interested in investing in .Net companies or enterprise software.

You may wish to restructure your question after reading a little on
what VCs are seeking. A suggested Google search strategy:
"what VCs want"

Hi! Thanks for the question.

It is true that venture capitalists are still on the hunt for very
good companies. The only difference is that they are more cautious at
these times and a lot of things hinges on your presentation, your
business plan and with an established company like yours, previous
performance indicators. The following articles indicate this trend.

“But even as venture capital investment in startups has fallen
precipitously, 2001 is shaping up as one of the top years for the VC
industry -- it invested about $30 billion in the first three
quarters.”

“Dealmakers With The Midas Touch”

The following links are big lists of US and European VCs you could
contact for your company’s expansion.

the US.

Most of the info is readily available . I was really hoping to find
specific VC's that are interested in looking at a non US tech company
with Microsoft .net based technology

Since you have already doing Business in Singapore, why not consider
VC in Singapore then.

When you are next in town drop at Economic Development Board office
and talk to the officers there .. they would put you in touch with the
right persons. They even have an investment arm. More info at
http://www.edbi.com/

Thay may take a small position in your venture, but introduce you to
others who would put in more.

I hope this helps.
