On new install of Small Business Server the message "This verison
cannot upgrade the installed version of Microsoft Small Buisness
Server". This leaves this new server (new install of OS) at the W2K
Server level of the install and will not complete the install for SBS.
Does anyone have an answer?

Just to be clear,

This is a new formatted hard drive where you installed SBS 2000 as a
new install, correct? You are NOT trying to perform an upgrade from a
previous version?

Also, is this perhaps a Not for Resale or Evaluation version of SBS
2000 or is it a Retail copy?
