What's the "unbiased" word on Oil Heat vs. Propane Heat for a family
of four in Boston area - looking for pros and cons to Oil and Propane.

Would a general comparison of oil vs propane be sufficient? This would
contain cost, efficiency, etc of the two.

A general comparison would at least be a good start. I'm mainly
interested in BTU output per unit, current unit cost, historic unit
costs, etc.

My furnace is about done and I'm considering alternatives. There is
no piped gas on the street, but I have propane for hot water and
clothes drying now. A conversion would be pretty easy and result in -
removal of oil tank, using a cleaner burning fuel, etc. But, I need
to learn the overall economic impact.
