(Aside from buying the datacable and software) Is there a way to
download address book information from a PC or website to the kyocera
2235?

My base address book data happens to be in Outlook but assume I am
able to get it anywhere else in the PC or internet world (to
intellisync, excel, yahoo address book, etc.). I'm really looking for
a WIRELESS way to do this--the physical 'syncing' process bugs me.
I'm also a big blackberry user (and fan) if that figures into the
answer in any way. If you can't find a way to do it but can find some
discussion on this topic or trends to watch for this to happen in the
future I would find that valuable.

Hello,

I found information at:

http://www.kyocera-wireless.com/pdf/2235_usersguide.pdf

which is the product manual, and it has no mention of an IR port for
your phone while other models (namely the QCP 6035) does have IR
support which leads me to believe that your phone is not IR capable.
There then would be no way to interface your computer with your phone
other than the cable provided by manufacturer. Please let me know if
this is an acceptable answer even though it is a negative one. Thank
you very much.

The phone does have mobile web capability and I subscribe to the
service. Therefore it is technically possible for someone to have
written a program or developed a service that would use the web
connection to transmit address book records to the kyocera operating
system (much like yahoo does with its address book--yahoo uses the
interconnect connection, rather than an independent direct connection
it controls, to get onto your hard disk, look at your hard disk-bound
address book (say in Outlook), pack up the records, transmit them
across the internet connection, and then unpack them into usable yahoo
address-book records). My guess is that some computer enthusiast
would be working on this. Alternately, there are (were) services on
the internet that synced up all kinds of things. I forget the names
and they may all be out of business. But this is whatI'm looking for.
I should have made it clearer in my oriignal question.
