Can you find a source for who said "Amo ergo semper eram" ... Latin
for "I love, therefore I will always be"?

I haven't found any online instances of this quote, nor its source.
Where did you see or hear the quote? That might give us a clue.

I did locate a reference source for "Amo ergo sum," or "I love,
therefore I am."

I wish I remembered useful clues! I know I read it in a thick
paperback book, that I read the book more than 22 years ago because it
was before I met my wife, and that the book had some mystical, New-Age
feel to it. It *might* have been by Colin Wilson, but I'm not at all
sure of that either.
