Hi cmcgourty-ga,

Ok, I’ve got you a list here. The search started out straightforward,
but results sure came few and far between by the end. It was quite

I did wonder about your term “unaffiliated” as opposed to “not part of
a university campus.” Many hospitals are affiliated with universities
in the sense that they provide medical education to students in a
partnering arrangement. However, the hospitals (or grounds) are not
owned by the university. For example ---

Hartford Hospital is a teaching hospital, and an affiliate of the
University of Connecticut School of Medicine and Dentistry for both
graduate and undergraduate medical education, but is a wholly-owned
acute care subsidiary of Hartford Health Care Corporation (HHCC) –
that is not owned by or located on the university campus.

I am assuming what you are trying to avoid is acreage/hospitals
described as follows –

“The medical center is situated on the beautiful 680 acre campus of
the University of Washington.”

With that in mind, here’s the list. In case I am off-target, I have
included any mention of university affiliation so you are clear that
there is one. There are 13 hospitals listed, just in case 1 or 2 have
to be disqualified because of their university affiliations. The links
I’ve provided take you to the page on the hospital’s website where the
acreage is mentioned.
