I am looking for 15-17" lcd that can be mounted on a wall in a public area. It can not have exposed buttons. Also, cost is a factor. It should look more like a framed picture then a monitor. |

Hello and thanks for the question. After doing some research, I think a MGC LCD monitor would best fit your description. These monitors are flat, wall mountable and the thin edge gives the monitor the look of a framed picture. Their prices also seem to be inline with other, non-wall-mountable flat panel LCD monitors. Here are some of the models of MGC LCD Wall Mountable monitors: MGC 17" L17AA SLIM LCD http://www.maxgroup.com/Products/details.asp?item=MG0617AA MGC L17BB 17" BLACK SLIM LCD http://www.maxgroup.com/Products/details.asp?item=MG0617BB These monitors run around $600 and can be purchased online at Trillora http://www.trillora.com/peripherals-monitors-lcd-flat-panel-monitors.html and Macena Systems https://www.emaxasp.com/macena/products.asp?category=06 Sony offers a slightly cheaper alternative that fits your description. The S51/B is a 15 inch monitor and is wall mountable and costs about $450. It can be viewed at Sonystyle.com http://www.sonystyle.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/eCS/Store/en/-/USD/SY_DisplayProductInformation-Start;sid=N6tfNrMNMc5fN47FASxVPfwcqQ4zg9lJFu8=?CatalogCategoryID=bsAKC0%2eN0zgAAADx0XpLgj%2eu&ProductID=FT8KC0%2eNBFgAAADxuRxLgj%2ey&Dept=cpu Search strategy: lcd monitor wall mountable flat panel monitor wall mountable mgc lcd monitor Hope that helps!
