Need to locate a photo of Charlie McCarthy depicted as Franz Hals, "Laughing Cavalier". Painted by John Decker, Los Angeles artist about 1938. I have a newspaper clipping dated June 23, 1940 from the Bridgeport, CT. POST newspaper but haven't been able to get a more original image. | |

I found few places were you can get a photo of Charlie Mc Carthy http://www.thepelicans.co.uk/obits1.htm http://justkidsnostalgia.com/catalog/item.php?pid=11498 http://justkidsnostalgia.com/catalog/item.php?pid=11499 http://www.grandmas-attic.com/collectibles.html If you don't have money to buy the photo, you can save the picture on your PC, or you can send to your e-mail. So, do next: - click right on the photo - you have there "Svae pictures as.." - give it a name, and that's it you have the photo |

I learned that the newspaper has donated its earlier issues to the local library. I shall let you know what else I find on this. |
