I need the name of the individual who is head of marketing for the US
Armed Forces. This would be the person responsible primarily for
recruiting - tv commercials, uncle sam posters, etc. Contact info
(phone and e-mail) would be a plus.

Hello,

Each service contracts out its own advertising.

The U.S. Army Recruiting Command Public Affairs Division is in charge
of marketing the Army to potential recruits. The commander is Maj.
Gen. Michael D. Rochelle. Contact information is available at:

"Welcome to USAREC Advertising and Public Affairs"
http://www.usarec.army.mil/hq/apa/Index.htm

The head of the Navy Recruiting Command, which contracts out Navy
recruitment advertising, is Rear Adm. G.E. Voelker. Contact
information is available in Navy Recruiter magazine
(http://www.cnrc.navy.mil/cnrc/magazine/magazine/magazine_files/nov.pdf).

Brig. Gen. Edward A. Rice Jr. heads the Air Force Recruiting Service,
which is in charge of advertising for that service. The AFRS' homepage
(http://www.rs.af.mil/) has contact information.

The head of the Marine Corps Recruiting Command is Maj. Gen.
Christopher Cortez. Contact information is available at:

"Marine Corps Recruiting Command"

I hope this answer meets your needs. If not, please request

These are fine, with the exception of the Marine Corps. The number
goes to a generic voice mail box.

Sorry about that. Try (703) 784-9400, as seen at
(https://web.mcrc.usmc.mil/mcrc.htm). That's the number for the head
office of MCRC. For the marketing section, try (703) 784-9433.
