I have an idea for a product that will absolutely enable many
individuals to quit smoking (where all other cessation products have
failed them).  It is a product unlike any other product on the market.
 To finance this venture, I would like to find one or more individuals
who have lost a loved one to a cigarette induced disease, an
individual who would relish the idea of dealing a blow to the tobacco
industry.  How do I go about finding one or more individuals who: 1)
have lost a loved one to a cigarette induced disease; 2) would like to
deal a blow to the tobacco industry and 3) have speculative dollars to
invest in a project that will, perhaps significantly!, reduce the
number of smokers worldwide.

pinkfreud: Point well taken.  It is not my intention to approach
anyone who is on a "mailing list of the bereaved."  Rather, I am
trying to find out if there is a way to identify individuals who have
made it known that they would like to get involved in a project that
will save others from going through what they have been through.

I lost my father and my lifelong best friend to cigarette-induced
diseases. I cannot speak for others, but I would be very offended if
someone approached me with a business proposition because they found
my name on a mailing list of the bereaved.
