Hi All,

I am looking for a list of restaurant suppliers in California.
Generally in the major cities:

San Diego
Orange County
LA
San Jose
San Francisco

I am interested in selling them a food product. So therefore any
suppliers that ONLY supply non-food items (i.e. linens, cutlery etc
etc) are not needed. Also, if there is some sort of rating by
reputation or revenue that would be great as well.

Thanks,
vlad

Hello vlad,

When I saw your request, I immediately thought of Sysco. I think we’ve
all seen their trucks as they’re the biggest name in restaurant
supplies. I next went to Hoover’s to see their profile and to identify
some competitors and found McLane Foodservice | Performance Food |
U.S. Foodservice. Then I looked at their competitors and the profile
for the industry.

Reviewing the Hoovers’ profiles I noted that these companies are
listed in the Wholesale Food or Foodservice categories. I checked
Google’s directory to see what I could find for these classifications
and found lots of associated links for associations, news, trade press
and conferences.

I hope this will give you a good start in finding and evaluating
restaurant suppliers. Good luck with finding a distributor for your
new product.
