Dear kindlewood,

You requested information about a directory for 900 numbers.

First, Google has its very own listing – it can be found at –

http://directory.google.com/Top/Society/Relationships/Dating/Personals/900_Numbers/

The Open Directory Project, dmoz, also has a directory of 900 numbers.
It can be found at –

http://dmoz.org/Society/Relationships/Dating/Personals/900_Numbers/

Ansme.com also has a list of 900 numbers, including links to the Web
sites of the operating companies –

http://directory.ansme.com/society/101504.html

Still another directory –

http://www.linkspider.us.com/index.cgi/Society/Relationships/Dating/Personals/900_Numbers/

Yahoo provides a directory of psychics’ 900-numbers at –

http://dir.yahoo.com/Business_and_Economy/Shopping_and_Services/Paranormal_Phenomena/Psychic/Phone_Services/1_900_Numbers/

…as well as a directory of companies that can hook you up with 900
numbers, usually sold as a franchise –

http://dir.yahoo.com/Business_and_Economy/Business_to_Business/Communications_and_Networking/Telecommunications/Phone_Services/1_900_Numbers/

Another useful source may prove to be Anywho, a comprehensive phone
lookup service provided by AT&T. But, you will have to enter some
information about the owner of a phone number in order to provide the
search engine with sufficient data to find it for you –

http://www.anywho.com/

Also provides reverse lookup, which is a nice feature.

Whowhere? Is a similar service online at –

http://www.whowhere.lycos.com/

And yet another such site is Switchboard –

http://www.switchboard.com/

I hope this response adequately addresses your request. Please let me
know if you are in need of additional information concerning this
query.
Thanks,
ragingacademic

2) “1-900 numbers”
3) “1-900 numbers directory”
4) “900 numbers directory”
5) “directory of 900 numbers”

Albeit a lot of additional research, I was not able to locate such a
directory. However, you can create your own directories by utilizing
the following search techniques on Google - as you will see, this can
be quite effective -

1) To create a list of 900 technical support numbers, search for -

1-900 "technical support"

<enter the terms exactly in that manner in the Google search box, then
hit enter>

Most of the first few page results will provide you with company names
and their 900 numbers - you won't even have to click on the link to
collect the data. For example, when I just searched using this
strategy, the first few hits were as follows:

Keating 1-900-565-3266
Digevent 1 (900) 786-8324
ISP Planet - 1-900-ISP-TECH
Lucas Learning 1-900-740-JEDI (1-900-740-5334)
yggdrasil 1-900-446-6075
Corel 1-900-733-8780
Gendexxray 1-900-555-3100
Act 1-900-225-2205

(that's just off the first page of hits)

2) To create a list of 900 game hint numbers, do the same using search
strategy:

1-900 "game hints"

Again, you'll immediately see familiar names such as Lucas, Konami,
Sega etc. pop up.

You can easily create similar search strategies to reach 900 numbers
is other fields.

Now, while I don't know how to do this - there is a way to write a
robot that would extract such numbers automatically. While it may
cost a few hundred dollars to write the robot, it should be fairly
simple - and it will save you a lot of time!

I hope this will help you further.
Please let me know if you would like additional assistance.

Thanks again,

Thorough and responsive.
Not exactly what I was looking for, but researcher gave me options and
a way to find out the answer. Very helpful.
