I have an original Barday entitled Paris-Notre Dame. Is there any
personal info available on the artist? Where was he or she born and
when etc.

I have put in some time on this question, and it appears that
virtually nothing is known for sure about this artist, who created
postcards and full-sized lithographs during the first half of the 20th
century. However, there has been a substantial research effort by a
"fan" of the artist to identify him (or her) and to learn something
about him, and there is a website that is exclusively devoted to this
effort. If the specific information you seek is not found by me (or
others), would detailed information about that quest, and the clues
that do exist, be of sufficient interest to you to constitute a
complete answer to your question? Is so, I would be happy to provide
it in that form.

According to the Biography & Genealogy Master Index, there's an entry
for a Seraly Barday (b. 1929) in:

Who's Who in France. Qui est qui en France. Dictionnaire biographique
de personnalites francaises vivant en France, dans les territoires
d'Outre-Mer ou a l'etranger et de personnalites etrangeres residant en
France. 14th edition, 1979-1980. Paris: Editions Jacques Lafitte,
1979. [WhoFr 1979]

This is the only "Barday" listed in BGMI. Unfortunately I don't have
access to the volume right now, but perhaps another researcher does.
