I am looking for a literary piece that i heard read in a prose
category in a speech tournament and i am looking for a copy of the
piece. i am not sure if it is a short story or if it came out of a
magazine or what, but i would really appreciated any help i could get
in locating the piece entitled, "I Hate You Wallace B. Pokras" by
Ellen Conforn. Thank you for any help you can offer.

Could the author's name be Ellen Conford, rather than Ellen Conforn?

There is a book of short stories called "I Love You, I Hate You, Get
Lost," by Ellen Conford. I haven't been able to verify whether or not
"I Hate You, Wallace B. Pokras" is in this collection, but the title
of the story certainly sounds typical of Conford.
