Please help to make this the most commented upon Question EVER!

When Hollywood decides to film my life story, I expect that the finale
will be a masked ball to which all Google Researchers, Questioners and
Commentators will be invited. The masks are obviously required in the
interests of confidentiality.

However, my question is:

Who would YOU like to represent YOU on screen?

(Since it's only hypothetical, you can choose people who are alive or
dead)

In case you wondered, Pierce Brosnan will be playing me.

When you say 'YOU' in your question, are you wanting an answer from
'ME' (tisme) or somebody else who is 'YOU'?

You didn't say how many clarifications you'd like.

Sorry, tisme, but your clarification request is unclear.

Tell you what, though, I'm really looking forward to the masked ball.

Probono --

I just posted a "Comment" as #244. It was:
"A gross."

It now appears that at 12x12 (244), Google hits its limits and posts
it to the researcher (even though my comment didn't appear as an
answer).

Best regards,

Omnivorous-GA

Surely that's 144?

Hi, knowitall22

Many thanks for your posting.

In view of everything, would you mind taking the Comments, through the 500 Mark?

But, be quick, or Kemlo will beat you to it!

Hi, Omni

One of GA's most prestigious researchers has suggested that this
question may now be 'stagnating'.

This would be most unfortunate because a stagnant question can act as
host to certain malignant bots that could rise up and attack other
questions.

What to do?

This needs fixing and quick before NSA move in. (You know how heavy
handed they can be.)

Thanks for your help!

Probonopublico --

"Fresh questions" are much easier to find in Google than "stale
questions". There are almost 3,000 references to fresh questions and
less than a dozen to the stale variety, which makes it difficult to
create a stale question. Perhaps, something like "how are you
planning for Y2K?" would be stale.

This one is definitely not stale because every time that a comment or
clarification is posted, it rises to the TOP of the log-on screen that
is provided for researchers!

Best regards,

Omnivorous-GA

Oh, Gee, Techtor ...

It's only a game!

I thought that you were introducing us to the real thing.

Or is that just a taster? A cue for a question?

Many thanks anyway.

So, we've reached the end of the line and the answer's a Gross.

Well done, everyone. It's been great fun.

There's a lot of talent out there and it's a pleasure to enjoy your company.

playing yourself.

Hi Probonopublico.

Having seen a picture of you, I think James Garner should play you (I
think you look like him/he looks like you, whatever!)

As for someone playing me....Rutger Hauer or Max von Sydow......

Janeane Garofalo would play me. She'd have to be a more conservative
Janeanne in some ways but she's the person I can most identify with on
many subjects plus she's short like me. :) If it were a big classic
type film, maybe Joan Fontaine.

I have been told numerous times that I resemble Bernadette Peters, so
she would be a good choice to play me on the silver screen. Like me,
she's over 50 and still feisty. She sings better than I do, too.

If Bernadette is unavailable, Bette Midler would be a most excellent
replacement.

If neither of these ladies can be persuaded to portray Pinkfreud-ga, I
would settle for Meryl Streep in a red wig. I bet Meryl could do a
fine job with the Oklahoma accent.

My husband will be played by Mel Gibson. No substitutions permitted.

Ok ok, this is goofy, but just to help you meet your goal, make it
Anna Friel, a British actress supposedly on tap to play the lead in an
upcoming movie ( http://movies.yahoo.com/shop?d=hp&cf=prev&id=1808408065
) about the Nachthexen, the WWII Soviet women pilots of the 588th
night bomber regiment. A good friend of mine gave me the nickname of
"Nightwitch" as a compliment some years ago, and I've used it as a
handle ever since. Their story is a fascinating one and mostly
unknown in the U.S., so if anyone's interested, have a gander here:

But the Googlebird's mate is always there
To cache the eggs in a cup.

And her down is downside up.

Please be aware that ANYONE who calls me a cad will be automatically

My nomination for 'question answerer' is the person who posts the
1000th comment. If it is a researcher who reaches that goal they can
answer own their own. If it is a non-researcher who hits the magic
number, then the non-researcher can request the researcher of his/her
choice to provide an answer in the non-researcher's name.

Just leave the question open and let it run its course through to the
bitter end.

This is getting to be too much for one man to handle ...

First, Byrd: Yes Anna Friel is OK because she's a Lancashire lass,
born in Rochdale ... which (as every Google Researcher knows) is right
next door to Oldham - my home town.

Sorry, Googlenut but if Halle Berry (who's mother comes from
Liverpool, another Lancashire lass) is there then to Hell with Pierce
Brosnan, I shall play the part myself. (Google Researchers will be
aware that Jolson himself played the part of Jolson singing Swanee in
The Jolson Story.)

Sorry, Sublime One but if Meg Ryan is there (and why not?) then,
again, I shall have to twirl her round the dance floor.

Sorry, Political Guru, YOU have landed the job of Musical Director.
(Fully dressed please!)

Regarding Kurt Jahnke, if Scriptor can manage more than a few words of
German, French, English and Spanish ... then he can audition for the
part. Dankeschoen.

In my movie there'd be lots of gratuitous male nudity -- the full
monty up the wazoo. I of course, er the person playing me, would be
the only female so she'd get all the male attention. The men starring
in my film would range from Rupert Graves, Kevin Spacey, Brad Pitt,
Edward Norton, Guy Pearce, Luke and Owen Wilson to Jude Law, Orlando
Bloom, Colin Firth and even Harvey Keitel (because he is The Man). My
boyfriend/husband/lover would be played by the one and only Jake
Gyllenhaal. Yes indeedy.

The soundtrack would be a mix of opera and classical music to new wave
romantic and goth punk with these bands taking part: Flesh for Lulu,
The Cure, The Smiths, The Housemartins, Thrashing Doves, Depeche Mode
and of course, Voice of the Beehive.

settle for a ménage à quatre involving Kevin Spacey, Jude Law, and
Orlando Bloom. Or any of 'em solo. I'm easy.

With all due respect to Scriptor, if he plays two parts (one as
Scriptor and another as Jahnke), it would make it look like a cheap
soap opera or B-Movie. I suggest John Thaw or Michael Caine
(especially the young ones). If you're looking for a German actor, I
recommend Armin Mueller-Stahl. However, after seeing the brilliant
"Painist" (if you haven't seen it yet - go!), I must say that Adrian
Brody demonstrated quiet good acting and ability to speak different
languages (German, Polish and of course English, I saw it in the
original version!).

Regarding the gals' discussion on the famous male nude scene, I feel a
little bad that the young Sean Connery is not in. He is, after all,
the first, one and only Bond.

Must agree with Filian's fine choice of music. However, I also thought
the Boo Radleys "Wake Up" is a great opening song for a beginning of a

I recall that Alexander Graham Bell's telephone didn't work ... Until
his pal at the Patent Office tipped him off about Elisha Gray's patent
that did work ... thus giving Bell the chance to modify his own patent
application which had an earlier priority.

So, Bell's success was based on fraud!

One of them goes to family in Egypt and is named "Ahmal."

These friars were behind on their belfry payments, so they opened up a
small florist shop to raise funds.
Since everyone liked to buy flowers from the men of God, a rival
florist across town thought the competition was unfair.
He asked the good fathers to close down, but they would not.
He went back and begged the friars to close.
They ignored him. So, the rival florist hired Hugh MacTaggart,
the roughest and most vicious thug in town to "persuade" them to
close.
Hugh beat up the friars and trashed their store, saying he'd be back
if they didn't close up shop.
Terrified, they did so, thereby proving that...(are you ready) .
Hugh, and only Hugh, can prevent florist friars.

A Lawyer, A Doctor and an Engineer were posed with that question, "Is
the glass half full or half empty?"

Well the Lawyer says, "It's obviously half empty... We're you hurt?
Did someone steal it? Let's sue!"

The Doctor says, "It appears to be half full but we can make it
complete... Do you have insurance?"

The Engineer says, "It's obvious that job is using twice as much glass
as is needed."

As usual... Sgt. Shultz knows.... Nuthing!

Okay now go check the lock at your front door. Then go to the bathroom
and pull out the little box from the upper left corner of your
medicine chest, bring it back to your pc. On the back of the box,
locate the third line down. Place that third line into your google
search field and post the top result here as soon as possible.

Remember this is a vitally important mission, we will release more
information to you ater your post.

Two Kiwis (New Zealanders) are walking toward each other, and one is
carrying a sack.
When they meet, one says,

"Hey Marvin, watcha got in th' bag?"

	"Jis' some lambs."

"If I guesses how many they is, kin I have one?"

"Hey, if ya guesses right, I'll give you both of 'em."

	"OK. Ummmmmmmm .... five?"

Had to be a part of the 'K' quest, please forgive this Aussie sharing
some Kiwi ribbing as part of the process but individual motivation is
a personal matter and the joke does contain semi-relevant numerical
matter.
Good luck .

As Nasruddin emerged form the mosque after prayers, a beggar sitting
on the street solicited alms. The following conversation followed:

- Are you extravagant? asked Nasruddin.

- Yes Nasruddin, replied the beggar.

- Do you like sitting around drinking coffee and smoking? asked
Nasruddin.

- Yes, replied the beggar.

- I suppose you like to go to the baths everyday? asked Nasruddin.

- Yes, replied the beggar.

- ...And maybe amuse yourself, even, by drinking with friends? asked
Nasruddin.

- Yes I like all those things. replied the beggar.

- Tut, Tut, said Nasruddin, and gave him a gold piece.

A few yards farther on, another beggar who had overheard the
conversation begged for alms also.

- Are you extravagant? asked Nasruddin.

- No, Nasruddin replied second beggar.

- Do you like sitting around drinking coffee and smoking? asked
Nasruddin.

- No, replied second beggar.

- I suppose you like to go to the baths everyday? asked Nasruddin.

- No, replied second beggar.

- ...And maybe amuse yourself, even, by drinking with friends? asked
Nasruddin.

- No, I want to only live meagerly and to pray, replied second beggar.

Whereupon the Nasruddin gave him a small copper coin.

- But why, wailed second beggar, do you give me, an economical and
pious
man, a penny, when you give that extravagant fellow a sovereign?

Ah my friend, replied Nasruddin, his needs are greater than yours.

Has anyone noticed the bad design of computer keyboards today.
Whenever I place my mug of coffee on the keyboard to stir in the sugar
it will invariably topple over and slop.
My previous computer had a cup holder that slid out from the front, a
well thought out design. My current one (an iMac) does not. Any one
any suggestions on the problem? Is it worth posting this as a qestion?

Very, very welcome.

And Pierce will also be getting plenty of help from me.

Please let me know which dances show you at your very best.

Hi, Anna (Carpediem)

I must be honest ... I have two left feet.

And my partners always look (a) embarrassed and/or (b) in pain.

That's why I shall get a stunt double ... Ideally, I'd like the guy
who did the tap dancing for Richard Gere in 'Chicago' ...

However, even though I am useless myself, I adore watching dancing,
anything from ballet to tap.

Good morning, Smion (Kemlo)

When you made your last comment, it may have been 9.55 a.m. within the
Bucolic Shire of Leicester but the world is round and different people
live in different TIME ZONES ...

So, it's highly probable that it was actually 10.25 a.m. in Sunny
Sussex because we are so much more advanced than you.

Sorry, but I thought you would have known that!

Too much coffee can make you hallucinate.

Hi Bryan
The real reason your clock reads 10.25 is that you advanced it half
an hour too far last night. please remember to, in the futre, advance
or retard the clock only one whole hour at a time.

Nearest sunday to the end of the month. winter schedule. In the summer
because I go swimming every week I don't need a bath so often.
Now Bryan, Don't take this the wrong way but, I think, the reason

It has been suggested that the Masked Ball should be held in Manheim,
PA.

Would anyone know if there is a suitable facility there?

Preferably a 17th Century Royal Palace that has been lovingly
maintained by a succession of careful owners.

Will ALL previous Commentators (and any new ones) please say 'Yes' or
'No'to this suggestion.

Many thanks!

Alack, alas, no castles suitable in Manheim, PA, but we do have two
other lovely facilities to choose from:
A Renaissance Faire grounds, compleat with anachronistic turkey legs
and jousters, and/or the Auto Auction, which recently surpassed
Chicago/O'Hare's lots as the largest carpark in the world (or so says
local lore).
I hear there's a haunted graveyard or two, as well.
And cows.

Hi, Anlon

So Manheim, PA would not be the ideal venue then?

I can't imagine why the Dance Committee would have recommended such a
place.

How about Wernerville, PA?

Is that any better?

Incidentally, I used to fly into Philadelphia frequently to visit a
plant that my company owned in a place called Jamestown, NJ.

Now, what did W C Fields say about Philadelphia?

Wernersville, PA might suit better, as there is a lovely YMCA camp
there. Is 40 minutes from Chez Anlon, though. Also, still no
chateau, though certainly enough accomodation for the crowds drawn by
the event of the season. The woods would be suitable for ghost story
telling over the fire and s'mores. Not sure how this will work,
though, as some mask materials might be highly flammable. Hmmm.

Am working on costume for ball, sure to delight visitors from near and
far.

Sorry to hear about your frequent flights to Philly and travels to NJ.
Hope your company paid for the therapy?

pbp...

Your remark about future commentators reminded me of a story...

Walter Cronkite was, at some point, in love with a Sweet Potato.
Truly a beauty, she was, and Walter adored her with all his heart.
She was the daughter of a Russett Potato and an Irish Cobbler.
When his ardor became unreconcilable, Walter approached her father,
the Russett Potato, and asked for her hand in marriage, but her
father responded starchily that this could never be.

Stunned, Walter tried to reason with the thick-skinned father,
noting that he was well-off, well-known and that he didn't think
his age was a problem. But the father was adamant. Finally,
Walter pleaded with him, asking what the obstacle might be.

The father peremptorily stated
"I just won't have my daughter marrying some common 'tater".

The following is a large collection of stories and anecdotes about
clueless computer users. It's a baffling phenomenon that in today's
society an individual, who might in other circumstances be considered
smart and wise, can sit down in front of a computer screen and
instantly lose every last shred of common sense he ever possessed.
Complicate this phenomenon with a case of "computerphobia," and you
end up with tech support personnel having phone conversations that are
funny in retrospect but seem like perfectly valid motives for wild
machine gun shooting sprees at the time. You will read stories in this
file that will convince you that among the human race are human-shaped
artichokes futilely attempting to break the highly regarded social
convention that vegetables should not operate electronic equipment.
And yet, amidst the vast, surging quantities of stupidity are
perfectly excusable technological mishaps -- but that are amusing
nonetheless. After all, even the best of us engages in a little
brainless folly every once in a while.

Me: "Hi. I need a 25 pin RS-232 cable."
*	Sales Clerk 1: "What do you need it for?"
*	Me: "I need to plug a VT100 into a modem. I have both the VT100 and
the modem, I just need at 25 pin male/female cable with RS-232
connectors."
*	Sales Clerk 1: "Let me get my manager."

Huh?

*	Sales Clerk 1: in background: "I have a guy here who wants to plug
his VCR into a modem."

The sales clerk returned with another.

*	Sales Clerk 2: "Hello, sir. You can't attach a VCR to a modem."
*	Me: "That is not what I am trying to do. I need a 25-pin RS-232
cable -- that's all. Do you have cables for plugging into modems?"
*	Sales Clerk 2: "What do you want to plug into the modem?"
*	Me: "A VT100. It is a terminal. You plug it into a computer over a
serial line, frequently a modem. I just need a 25-pin cable to go from
the unit to the modem."
*	Sales Clerk 2: (to Sales Clerk 1) "He doesn't have a VCR. He wants
to plug a VTR into his modem, so it is all right."

Sales Clerk 1 handed me a cable.

*	Me: "This is a 9-pin cable. I need a 25 pin cable."
*	Sales Clerk 2: "Most PC's have 9 pins on their serial cards."
*	Me: "I am not attaching a PC. I am attaching a VT100. There are 25
pins on it -- it needs to plug into a 25 pin connector."
*	Sales Clerk 2: "Then use the small end to plug into your modem."
*	Me: "There are 25 pins on the modem as well. Do you have any 25 pin
cables? All I need is a cable with 25 pins at each end."
*	Sales Clerk 2: "This is a 25 pin cable."

And now a true story,
Many years ago I while visiting the Leicester City library I wanted to
read Cider with Rosie By Laurie Lee. looking through the card index I
found it filed permanently in the wine making section.
Of course being the responsible borrower that I was I immediately took
the book out and then round to the local newspaper. They were mildly
amused, took my photo and story, and published it.
I still don't understand why the library staff were so hostile.

I didn't know anyone cared ...

Do you know that you are the ONLY person who has enquired about my
well being?

The truth of the matter is that I have been in a sulk.

You see, a little bird told me that you were planning a big bash this
coming Saturday and I was so hoping to get an invite.

But when none came, I took to my bed and cried endlessly.

However, I now feel better knowing that you (or you alter ego) will be
coming to my masked ball.

Kindest regards

I think you could make a killing by creating accessible versions of
classic operas, by casting them with current pop/pop-rap stars.
Imagine the powerful performance of Britney Spears as Tosca. In Sync
(collectively of course) playing Figaro. The very thought of Nelly's
rendition of the great aria from Pagliacci brings me to tears...

Or, you could hire Rich Little to do voice impersonations of the great
mimes.

One of the most perceptive of the army of Researchers has pointed out

C'mon now EVERYBODY ... One great big effort and let's send the

A sunday school teacher was discussing the ten commandments with her
five and six year olds. After explaining the commandment to "honor thy
father and thy mother," she asked "is there a commandment that teaches
us how to treat our brothers and sisters?" Without missing a beat one
little boy answered, "thou shall not kill."

I don't think there's any lack of willingness, megagaga, or there
wouldn't be 590 already (even though it's true that some folks have
shamelessly inflated the numbers with obvious contrivances and
repetition). I think the word just isn't getting out; after all, the
challenge is four months old.

What we need is the equivalent of the guy with the sandwich-board
walking up and down in front of the showroom: people have to start
putting links and cross-references to this page into their questions
and answers. With some sort of legitimate tie-in, of course.

How do you like that idea, Bryan?

There was a tradesman, a painter called Wayne, who was very interested
in making a penny where he could, so he often would thin down paint to
make it go a wee bit further.

As it happened, he got away with this for some time, but eventually
the Baptist Church decided to do a big restoration job on the painting
of one of their biggest buildings.

Wayne put in a bid, and because his price was so low, he got the job.

And so he set to erecting the trestles and setting up the planks, and
buying the paint and, yes, I am sorry to say, thinning it down with
turpentine.

Well, Wayne was up on the scaffolding, painting away, the job
nearlycompleted when suddenly there was a horrendous clap of thunder,
and the sky opened, the rain poured down, washing the thinned paint
from all over the church and knocking Wayne clear off the scaffold to
land on the lawn among the gravestones, surrounded by telltale puddles
of the thinned and useless paint.

Wayne was no fool. He knew this was a judgment from the Almighty, so
he got on his knees and cried: "Oh, God! Forgive me! What should I
do?"

And from the thunder, a mighty voice spoke...

Repaint! Repaint! And thin no more!"

At the start of the Great war the government froze all bank accounts
held in Britain and the Empire. Regardless of which bank it was held
in. However, London branches of German banks would have held the
accounts of neutral foreigners as well as British subjects. Because of
this British managers were put in place under the supervision of the
Bank of England.
Also a commission was set up to examine the claims of, and pay
compensation to foreigners who were unfairly treated. This commission
was still in existence in 1939!

Hey Probo, yeah, we pursued the trivial and ended up coming third
which out of 20 tables, satisfied our competitive spirit to some
extent and we each won a Toblerone and a lottery ticket. We also won
most of the raffles (dunno how, just call me lucky) and my sister
shamed us all by winning the bubble gum blowing competition. She's on
the wrong side of 50 and a very eccentric, bespectacled unbelievably
clever thing who stood up there with all the dills who couldn't answer
the questions and did her thing. It finally burst and went all over
her glasses and was the clear winner. Oh the shame. There were some
dodgy answers though, e.g. Who sang, "always look on the bright side
of life" and everyone answered Brian, but of course it wasn't as any
devout Monty Pythoner would know. We challenged loudly and got the
point but everyone else also got a point so it didn't matter. I felt
someone whispering in my ear and turned hopefully, thinking it might
be dear Bryan coming to render trivial assistance but it was just my
sister practising her bubble gum blowing technique. See you later in
the 600s.

You want Aussies? You got one. G'day Probo. Is the masked ball still a
happenin' thang? If so, I can't remember who I originally said I'd
come as so I'll come along as Muriel in Muriel's Wedding. Or maybe
Helen Porter Mitchell who was, as you surely know, Dame Nellie Melba.
I could say I'd come along as Nicole Kidman, but no-one would believe
me! No, definitely Muriel material.

Hi, Stressed One

Nicole Kidman can come anyway. Seems like you, Muriel and Nikky will
be the only two Aussies attending. Unless Chips Rafferty can get his
act together. Do you remember Chips?

High, Jinx

Piers is getting the award on MY recommendation. After all, I don't
want a nobody to represent me at the Masked Ball.

a 24-hour-or-so period? it let me post 13 of my last ones, one right

day. i even tried to post a comment on an entirely different question

Hi, Vinsvixen2

Many thanks for your support ...

And your interesting observation.

There is actually a Secret Police Force called GoogleBot. It's
attached to MI5 (which is now run by NSA) and it patrols Cyberspace,
looking for ... well ... people such as yourself.

Everyone in the know suspected that something was going to blow up
when the dreaded number 666 had been reached ...

And now we know.

Your sacrifice will not be in vain.

And, don't worry, Tony Blair will mount a full scale enquiry.

Yes...if you do a page search on 'Tipperary', you will see the
beginning of a string of 12 comments I was able to make before
being 'cut off' like some overindulging lush. I suspect it is
some sort of script to prevent 'flooding' - a term used in chat
settings to indicate repeated posts by one individual which
have a disruptive effect on the chat process. Since this is not
a chat setting, as such, I don't know that repeated posts here
represent the same inconvenience to others that they would in
chat, but I suppose the setting of limits in this venue is not
without some value as well.

Oh, I was sure you'd make it. Am sure. People seem unable to resist
silly little challenges that afford a sense of triumph without a great
expenditure of effort. I think it's a way of thumbing one's nose at
all the things we can't control in an out-of-control world, all the
obstacles large and small that we just can't heave ourselves over, all
the petty, divisive little rivalries and antagonisms that set us apart
from one another in the workplace, in the supermarket checkout line,
on the freeway, or wherever, that abrade our pleasure in kinship with
our species and instead make us feel like alienated losers. Here's a
chance to enjoy a sense of unity of purpose and ultimate victory,
cheap, with some entertainment in the bargain. A sure-fire winner.

I tried to help things along a time or two when they seemed to be
lagging, but you're on the downhill side now and will probably coast
to a finish. In fact, human nature being what it is, I wouldn't be
surprised to see you log 1200 comments, 1500, 2000 . . . could this
one grow unwieldy enough to crash the system?

Hi, Everyone ...

And, particularly, Jinx.

Yes, Victoria really is my daughter. Surely, you don't think that an
attractive young woman would pose as my daughter unless it were true?

I also have another daughter, Samantha, but (as far as I know) she has
yet to make any comments, unless (of course) she has without telling
me.

And then there's Daisy but she's too busy sitting on her eggs at the
moment.

Hi, Bryan Probo--

I am acually less worried about your Daisy, who seems to be taking
care of herself...uh...himself?? you didn't specify, but I am now
wondering who laid the eggs...than I am about the line "having an
affair with Daisy, behind my back." This suggests that Daisy's
putative intimacy with a seagull would amount to an act of infidelity
to you. I am concerned, Bryan. Is everything all right where you
are?

Hi, Apteryx, Googel & Vinsvixen2

"Is there a Vinsvixen1?", I wonder.

Thank you for your concern.

It's a great shock when a pet owner discovers that his little dog has
been doing what other dogs have been doing over the years.

Naturally, I believe that Daisy could have done better for herself
than choose a seagull as a partner but they seem happy enough
together, so who am I to judge?

There's nothing wrong with me now that a few cases of Dom Perignon
won't fix but you will have to be very resourceful to get them to me.

However, I have every confidence in you.

G'day PB honey,
Just had to drop by and see how you're going. Up to 790 now, I see.
Well done! How's Daisy? Have those eggs hatched yet? Here's a pet
story from downunder for you that's just happened and we're still
shaking our heads in disbelief. One of my cats has just done something
very nasty and extremely clever -- we aren't sure if we should be mad
or proud ... stresseddad just went to get his shoes out of the
wardrobe and smelled that yucky, unmistakable pong of cat wee.He
checked the carpet and the walls and they were pristine. He couldn't
understand where it was coming from until he picked up his shoes. Yep,
dear Bruce (the cat's called Bruce)has manouvered his ample feline
posterior and *sat* on the shoe and filled it copiously all without
spilling a drop. Impressive, huh? See you in the 800s.

Hi, Googel

Many thanks for sharing your idea with me.

I cannot find any bug in your proposition but, with these things, you
never know until you try them out. Even so, the exercise could lead to
a more elegant solution.

But, in terms of the original question, would it be possible to do the
tests within the cost and time parameters set out?

Fortunately, I don't have the problem but I am sure that the
Questioner has been given a few things to mull over.

ok, so i am JUST now getting into this "vaughn lowery" thing (the
dancing joe boxer guy). not really "into" it, i guess; but just now
finding out about all the hoopla over him, is what i mean. i almost
never watch tv, so i had no idea he even existed until just a few days
ago. i was reading thru the ga answered questions & someone asked who
the guy was. since i'm a joe boxer girl (& always make sure my bookee
has on his joe boxers, too!), i was interested. so, afta a few
searches, i found out more than i'd've ever wanted to know about this
guy. saw the commercials, the interactive game, his tv appearances;
saw the fan sites, forums, chat boards, groups, etc.; etc. ... ETC!

and now i must ask: WHAT IS THE BIG DEAL??! so, he dances around in
his undies. yeah, okaaaay....AND??! am i just hopelessly not "with
it" and just don't "get it"? i'll admit that, yes, i'm even an easily
amused person; but i still just do NOT see this whole "vaughn" thing!

therefore i couldn't have it for my email addy, like i'd wanted! >:-(
so, i chose to be vinsvixen, 'also' --> "vinsvixen, too". i've never
run into vinsvixen directly, but i've seen some of her postings in the
--where else?-- vin diesel community, where i tend to hang out waaaay
too much! :-) (but puh-leeeze don't tell anyone about that last bit.
cuz then i may hafta 'fess up to what i've named my plants and my car;
how many times i've seen "pitch black"; & exactly how many t-shirts (&
